RKS Guitars-
They are known for bespoke
craftsmanship, often wild colour
schemes, and of course the unique
design. Also available is a differently-
shaped model, the Wave, built on the
same design principle, and the Uluru
Boomerang V-shaped model available
to custom order.

Client Reviews
IMHO, there was not enough
wood around the pickups/body
core to sound good. You
essentially had a maple through
neck with some alder on top, and
then the metal ribs and plastic
wings.
I've actually kept the Orange one,
just cause it is so weird looking,
but have sold the rest.

its a pity the RKS didn't catch on.. their
designs were quite novel, i guess it wasn't
time..

I thought the ergonomics were off-the-
charts awful.
I thought the concept was insane.
I thought they played and sounded very
"meh".
Sorry, I thought they were, and I am not
exaggerating, the most futile guitar design
ever.

Even for someone as passionate about
innovative guitars as myself (see my "A
history of odd guitars" post & my
signature)....RKS was simply too much
innovation and not enough good sounding
high-quality guitar.
The idea of interchangeable outer skins is
not a new one, and I think if done right, it
could be a huge success. The luthier from
whom I heard this idea from first has a
fantastic idea, but I fear it will never come
to fruition
