Its a basic piece of art.

I see unity, balance, and emphasis with some


contrast and pattern as seen on the deer and
the tree.

Mostly Emphasis (Ex. The Deer), but some


contrast (The Bat).

Emphasis: Is there a dominant element or focal
point that you see first?

Yes; the Deer, as it stands out the most in the


artwork.

among the elements? What mood does it
create?

Yes, the artwork weighs to the right. This creates


a good mood, as it has a simple and well made
environment.

Proportion: Do the proportions look normal,
ideal, or unusual? Why?

Normal; It has a normal idea with normal details


and a normal environment.

Pattern: Are elements repeated to create a
pattern? Where? Why?

Emphasis and Balance (The Deer and The Bat);


The deer has more focus than the bat (To the
point were I didnt notice the bat until half way
in).

paths of movement do your eyes follow?
Where? Why?

The deer drags your eyes to the right with its


wait, due to its size.

Unity and Variety: What elements bring
together, or unify many parts of the design?
Why? What elements add variety? Why?

The contrast; The deer, the tree and the bat all
have their own space and focus. Emphasis and
Unity; They bring the painting together in a
different way then other paintings.

Is there symbolism in the artwork? What do you
think it means?

Yes; I think the deer represents those who are


more well known as the bat represents just your
normal, everyday person.

What feeling do you think the artist wanted to
give the viewer when looking at the work?

I think the artist wanted his work to be


recognized for its simplicity.

have experienced?

No.

In the artwork, the deer overshadows the bat,


for it has more focus. I feel sometimes my own
work is overshadowed by others/others work.

success or failure?

The Detail that couldve been makes this


artwork a failure.

Dont look too much into it. Its simple enough.

The Artwork isnt really unique as its so basic


that it probably has been done many times
before.

could have made to the work?

He couldve added more detail, more


background, and more color.
