It involves a lion.

Line in its mane, Form in its body, color in the
background/ pic., value in the lines/ color, and
contrast in the lines.

Emphasis: Is there a dominant element or focal
point that you see first?
I se the face first, where the most amount of
detail lies.

Balance: Is there a special balance, or weight,
among the elements? What mood does it
create?
The lion being the main focus draws my
attention, creating an almost majestic mood.

Proportion: Do the proportions look normal,
ideal, or unusual? Why?
They look normal. The dont seem to be too big/
small/ perfect.

Pattern: Are elements repeated to create a
pattern? Where? Why?
Line. All over the picture. Mostly for unity and
shading.

Rhythm or Movement: What visual rhythms or
paths of movement do your eyes follow?
Where? Why?
From top to bottom of the lion. Its most
detailed in the top, and the least detailed in the
bottom.

Unity and Variety: What elements bring
together, or unify many parts of the design.
Why? What elements add variety? Why?
Line. Its repeated a lot. Color and value. The
color makes it more interesting, and the sudden
addition of highlights, or lighter sections every
here and there help as well.

Is there symbolism in the artwork? What do you
think it means?
No. I think it means that the artist just wanted to
draw a lion.

give the viewer when looking at the work?
A majestic feeling/ bravery/ awe.

have experienced?
Yes. There are lion pictures in my house. I see
them a lot.

It relates to the world and science because its a
lion.

Its accuracy makes it a success. I didnt really
see any failures.

Not unique. There are tons of realistic lion
drawings in the world.

More color and motion.
