TECHNOLOGY
AND EQUIPMENT
IN INTELLIGENCE
Counterintelligence Equipment
The US is testing software robots that can identified targets
and present them to commanders much more quickly
than a human could. The software, known as the control
agent based system, uses artificially agents to sift through
troves of images and intelligence data to find viable
targets.
Software agents can understand voice command and
screen, sort and deliver incoming data. These agents route
the right information to the right people at the right time.
The defense departments dogged software agents work
in teams, plumbing the murkiest depths of a computer
network, communicating with each other and growing
smarter as they work.
Audio Recording Equipment
PARABOLIC MICROPHONE
It was developed over a three-year period and constantly updated, this
professional quality long range microphone is widely accepted by video,
film and recording case with fitted compartments for the microphone
components. It can be assembled and can be ready for used in less than two
minutes.
2. Amplified Pen Microphone with
Lithium Battery
CUSTOM LITHIUM POWERED, AMPLIFIED PEN MICROPHONE
This unique microphone looks exactly like an ordinary ball
point pen. Hidden within, however, is a small omni-
directional electric condenser microphone, 300 hour
lithium power cell, and 10X amplification circuit capable of
pickin up conversations at over 25 feet away. The unit
comes complete with 5 feet mini-cable, carry case, and
lithium battery.

1. Highly sensitive, pre-amplified electric condenser
microphone;
2. Voice filtering circuit helps eliminate background noise;
3. Powered by a long life lithium battery that will last from
300 500 hours
3. Super Concrete Mic Audio Recorder
It is sometimes called concrete mic because
professionals use this in their houses. This same unit allows
you to listen through solid walls with ease and clarity.
Simply place the contact mic in a surface and listen
through the hi-fi earplug. This unit also has an ouput jack for
connection to almost any tape recorder. It is useful for
automotive diagnostics, detection of leaky pipes in walls or
floors, detecting carjack sounds, as well as for many other
applications.
4. Telephone Recording Equipment
Line stalker Telephone Recorder
Features:
1. Simple modular jack connection to phone line
2. Automatically starts when any receiver is lifted and stops
upon hang up, records all extensions of the phone line.
3. Zero battery drained while waiting for conversation
4. Fastspeed playback for scanning tape
5. Operates on 2AA batteries
6. Full auto stop and shut off at end of tape.
7. Excellent long play and sound quality 4 hours per side off the
tape
8. Voltage controlled activated by phone line voltage
9. Requires the standards D140 tape
5. ATR-12
Features:
1. Checks your phone line for on-premise series bugs/taps,
parallel bugs, and wiretaps
2. Also checks your phones for the most common types of
hook-switch bypass devices.
3. Detects series devices with a resistance of 61 ohms or
more
4. Detects parallel devices with a resistance of 65 mega-
ohms or less
12. Telephone Voice Changer II
Features:
1. Direct connection
2. Its eight-level pitch selection allows user to select a
variety of voices.
3. The handset amplifier will amplify the sound level in the

Spy satellites have been used since the 1950s for military
purposes. For decades during the cold war it was
impossible to sign a nuclear arms reduction treaty
because the soviet union would not allow inspectors to
visit places were the United States suspected nuclear
weapons were being built and tested.
THE FIRST USER OF INTELLIGENCE IN
AMERICA
Few people think of George Washington, the father of
his country, as one who employed spies. Yet, during the
revolutionary war he directed a large spy network. They
used cryptology or secret writing to communicate with
him when he was the commander of the continental
army.

Automatic digital communications system and other
command support systems based on computer
applications will be increasingly important in future
battlefields.
USES OF FIELD EXCHANGES AND FIELD TELEPHONES
a) Communications within infantry brigade staff
b) The automatic digital field exchange consists of
telephone exchange, interference-free cable terminals,
digital telephones, and power supply devices.
