Modeled after SEEK in NYC
CUNY system (1966)

What is EOP?

Historically low-income and
educationally underserved
undergraduate students

Eligibility
New York State resident for 12
months prior to enrollment
Require special admission
consideration
Qualify as economically
disadvantaged according to the
guidelines
Applying to EOP/HEOP
Submit regular SUNY
application and indicate
interest in EOP
Campus will often request
additional documentation
High school record/GED &
test scores
Benefits - Fee Waiver
