Compound: Is a pure subastance that can
be broke down into two or more elements
Two or more two elements bound together.
Example: NaCl Na + Cl

Compound element element


Element: A pure substance which cannot be subdivided into two or
more simple substance by any chemical means is called are element.
For example: Na2 + Gold not be divided.
Atom: An is the smallest possible particle of an
element that can take part in a chemical change.

Molecule: An atom or group of atom that can exist independtly and


show all properties of a substance is called molecule.
Types of molecule
.Mono Atomic Molecules: Molecules containing one atom.
for example: Helium.
.Di-Atomic Molecules: Molecules containing two atoms.
for example: carbon monoxide, hydrogen.
