Box #1: Introduction and Thesis

The introduction paragraph is how you gain and keep your readers
attention look back over the introductions from all three articles
What do they do well? How can you mimic that?
Box #1: Introduction and Thesis
Thesis Statement is your argument. It is also the roadmap of your
paper: What is it you want to prove in your paper? How are you going
to prove it?
Identify ~3 reasons why your opinion of genetically modified humans/babies
is correct using information from the readings.
Identify supporting evidence (quotes/stats/facts) in the readings that you can
use to prove your point in each body paragraph. (Make sure a reason you
have is one that can be defended!
