Jang Newspaper Introduction and History
Jang was first published in 1939 by Mir
Khalil-ur-Rehman. Daily Jang is being
published from Lahore, Karachi,
Rawalpindi, Quetta and Landon. It is the
only sound Pakistan newspaper which is
also published form outside the country;

Group of Newspapers. The group's flagship
Daily Jang is Pakistan's national Urdu daily
newspaper.
It is the first newspaper which used
computerized Urud calligraphy in
Pakistan. This has a large impact on Urdu
journalism.

like Jang
Jang enables advertisers to reach
consumers across all SECs in Pakistan with
maximum effect and efficiency. It has 57%
readership in Urban Pakistan and 69% in
top 10 Urban markets.

It is published from Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Multan,

Sheikhupura, Bahawalpur, Gujrat, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sukkur,
Faisalabad, Dera Ghazi Khan and Birmingham.
It is the only sound Pakistan newspaper which is also published form outside
the country; Landon. Jang has the largest circulation in Pakistan.
The Daily Jang has a circulation of over 800,000 copies per day.

events is remarkable and praise worthy.
Throughout the week, the main pages offer national and international news,
business and finance, comment and analysis and daily sports coverage.

sections devoted to sports, entertainment, lifestyle, women, youth and children
including a tabloid size Midweek in-paper magazine on Wednesdays and the
weekend Sunday in-paper magazine.
Its format is broadsheet.
