 Contact Lifeline was
established in 1974 as CONTACT Wilmington
serving Delaware residents in the Wilmington
and New Castle County areas. In 1982, the
organization became incorporated as a private
501(c)(3) nonprofit agency, and has served
Delaware community for over forty years

Policies and Procedures
Coordinated procedure are followed
by ALL crisis helpline workers, rape
crisis specialist, aftercare coordinator,
rape counselors
For all services (except for therapy
sessions), a web based, field
accessible and secure call reporting
software is used to ensure
confidentially, and data collection
ALL service records including therapy
records are covered by an agency
Retention Policy
Call center reporting done daily,
weekly, monthly, annually
Monitor frequent caller profiles,
survivors follow-up, referral follow-up,
and updating
Rape/crisis call/caller data captured
electronically and is either supplied by
the caller, voluntarily or observed and
documented by worker/volunteer in
software logs.
Information is collected for Priority 1
suicide intervention, request for
sexual assault therapy, and frequent
caller profiles.
