FREE MEMBERSHIP
ASLMS offers FREE membership opportunities for medical students, residents, undergraduate and graduate
students, fellows-intraining, and post-doctoral fellows for the duration of their training.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND TRAVEL GRANTS

Students, residents and fellows-in-training receive waived conference registration fees and 50% off of pre-
conference courses.
A limited number of travel grants up to $1,000 are available each year.

RESEARCH GRANTS
ASLMS annually awards research projects designed to foster the development and use of lasers and other
energy-based technologies in medical and surgical applications.
As many as four student grants of $5,000 each may be awarded each year.

FACEBOOK DISCUSSION GROUPS

Exclusively for members of ASLMS, the Clinical Discussion and Early Career Network groups provide forums
for networking and discussion of cases, procedures, recommendations for devices/settings, and everyday
practices.

Four Student Board Representative positions on the Board of Directors of ASLMS offer a practical non-profit,
