Liqueurs
A Liqueur is a sweet alcoholic beverage that have been
flavored with fruit, herb, nuts, spices, flowers or cream.
These are typically quite sweet, they are usually not aged
for long but may have resting period during their
production to allow flavors to marry.
The word liqueur comes from the latin word Liquifacere
meaning to dissolve and refers to the dissolving of
flavourings in the spirits.

spices made by Carthusian monks near Grenoble, France.
There is green and yellow Chartreuse; the green is heavier
with higher proof. Chartreuse can be served as a digestif
or used as flavoring.
Coffee Liqueur is a liqueur flavored with coffee.
Cointreau orange flavored liqueur, a brand of curacao. It
is produced out of triple sec and orange curacao.
Creme de banane banana liqueur.
Creme de cacao is made from cacao beans, spices and
vanilla. It comes in two colors white and brown.
Creme de menthe peppermint liqueur, available in green
or white (colorless).
Drambuie Scottish based on whisky and flavored with
herbs and honey.
Galliano Italian herb flavored with over 40 herbs, flowers,
and spices, including aniseed, vanilla and honey.
