ESTABLISHMENT OF PPHI DSU Jhal Magsi

PPHI started its functions at District Jhal Magsi from April 2008
and took over the charge of 11 BHUs of the district and since
then providing healthcare facility to 157,479 (2012) people in
the catchment area of BHUs with following Objectives

PPHI OBJECTIVE
1)To revitalize the BHUs by effective management and facilitate
provision of Primary Healthcare Services (PHC) by making
available the doctor and free medicine.

2)To guide and facilitate efficient and comprehensive delivery of

Health Services assigned to FLHFs (BHUs,)in pursuance of
agreement with a Government.

3)To create awareness and ownership of FLHFs amongst the

community so that to have better access and appeal
of promotive and preventive Healthcare Programs.

4) To guide and facilitate gradual movement towards

integration of all PHC services in the rural areas at and through
the BHU and to achieve all the national objectives as agreed
under Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
