 "Mind is very restless, forceful and strong, O
Krishna, it is more difficult to control the
mind than to control the wind ...“Arjun to Sri
Krishna.”
INTRODUCTION
 One of the greatest contributions of India to the world is Holy Gita.

 Arjuna got me
 ntally depressed when he saw his relatives with whom he has to fight.

 To motivate him the Bhagavad Gita is preached in the battle field

Kurukshetra by Lord Krishna to Arjuna as a counselling to do his duty
while multitudes of men stood by waiting .

 It has got all the management tactics to achieve the mental

 equilibrium and to overcome any crisis situation.

 The Bhagavad Gita can be experienced as a powerful catalyst for

transformation.
BASIC INFORMATION
 The process of working collaboratively with a group of
people in order to achieve a goal.
Teamwork is often a crucial part of a business, as it is
often necessary for colleagues to work well together,
trying their best in any circumstance. Teamwork means
that people will try to cooperate, using their individual
skills and providing constructive feedback, despite any
personal conflict between individuals.
The Manager's functions can be briefly summed up as under:

• Forming a vision and planning the strategy to realize such

vision.

• Cultivating the art of leadership.

• Establishing institutional excellence and building an
innovative organization.

• Developing human resources.

• Communication and Team Management.

• Motivation, Delegation, Appraisals.

• Taking corrective steps when called for.

TEAMWORK SKILL
 Employers expect employees to be team players. Teamwork
is required for almost every industry, ranging from business
services to information technology to food services.
 This is true even if it seems like your job is best suited for an
independent worker. You may perform the bulk of your job
duties alone, but you’ll still have to be able to think of your
work in the context of the company’s larger goals, and
communicate your accomplishments to other people at the
organization.
 Regardless of your role, you need to be able to work well
with others – and convey that fact to hiring managers,
recruiters, and prospective employers. Scan any job listing
and you’ll see that even ads that seek “self-starters” also
inevitably drop the phrase “team player.”
WHY TEAMEORK?
 A team that works well together understands the
strengths and weaknesses of each team member. One
of the benefits of strong teamwork in the workplace is
that team leaders and members become proficient at
dividing up tasks so they are done by the most qualified
people.
 The purpose of creating teams is to provide a framework
that will increase the ability of employees to participate
in planning, problem solving and decision making to
better serve customers. Increased participation
promotes: a better understanding of decisions, ... more
ownership of decisions, processes, and changes, and.
BENEFITS OF TEAMWORK
“ Two hands are better than one.” We’ve all
heard the old adage encouraging teamwork,
but what does working together really do for
you? Salesmen thrive off healthy
competition, but sometimes the use of
teamwork in the workplace is a better answer
for winning sales.

thrives when people work together on a team.
