Heavy duty mechanics repair heavy duty trucks and work on them in till they are
fully functional to go on the road. You will mostly be working on semi trucks.
>Duties
To fix semi trucks so that they are ready ready to go on the road again. And they
also make sure that it is safe for the driver to go on the road.
>work environment
Your work environment will be in a shop or it sometimes may be outside
depending on the truck you are working on.
SALARY
Your hourly rate will be $18.48-$41.51

Overtime pay will be $31.47-$70-09

Your total pay will be $39,706-$103,068

REQUIREMENTS
The term of a aprentiship for a heavy duty mechanic is 3 years or three12
mounth periods including a minimum of 1500 hours on the job training and 8
weeks of technical training each year you can get your schooling at the
university of
