• Software is the instructions that tell the computer what to do

HARDWARE

• Hardware is the physical parts of a computer

• Like the monitor keyboard and the mouse
CPU

• CPU stands for central processing unit

• It’s the one that carries out the instructions
HARD DRIVE

• The hard drive stores data

• They keep storage even when powered down
MOTHER BOARD

• The mother board is a printed circuit board

• Mother board holds most of the componest
OPERATING SYSTEM

• The operating system manages hard and soft ware

• It also manages tasks
COOLING DEVICES

• The cooling device like the name suggests keeps all the parts cool
• Without a cooling device all the parts would over heat.
RAM

• Ram stands for random access memory

• The RAM is your short term memory
MOUSE

• The mouse is an input device

• It sends info into the computer
COMPUTER

• A device for storing and processing data

• It would take in 2+2 and give you 4
INPUT

• Input is entering information or data into a computer

• When you click your mouse you send info into the computer
OUTPUT

• Output is information or data sent OUT from the computer

• Computer sends info to speakers to play music
KEYBOARD

• A keyboard is a way of entering information into a computer.

• As you type the keyboard sends that information into the computer the
computer processes it and sends the info to the screen and then you see what
you are typing
