Architectural collection

"The Architectural series" is the latest attempt by the Carpet Cellar's Creative team to design carpet styles that have
never been attempted before in India.
The inspiration is Architecture and our tribute to this wonderful concept , making the carpet our canvas to express the
constructs and lines that form any buildings.

Material- Fine Australian wool with a lovely sheen

Colours- darker hues of beige, brown with accents of blue in some to reflect the sky.

Sizes- To be able to do full justice to the design, this series has only been completed in larger sizes of 10x8 Feet and above

 Erased Lux Collection
Design appear over time.Old carpets can sometimes give the appearance of parts disappearing or the pattern fading which is very much
in vogue these days.We are trying to recreate the same look of old carpets in this new collection.These are perfect for Modern styling and
can give a new twist to traditional interiors as well.

Material fabric- these are in fine wool and some in fine wool/silk

Patterns- a new take on old traditional patterns ,in an all new avatar

Colours- some are muted natural colours that work in any setting like grey/silver, beige/brown,ivory/silver,ice blue/silver combinations and
then we've also done some colour combinations that are richer and brighter so a beige base with pops of brighter hues are also quite
popular for a family room for exampleinspiration- older carpets were the inspiration for these and how certain portions in older carpets.

 Souzani Collection
Our Suzani Collection inspired by the world renowned Suzani textiles from Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The word Suzani is derived from the Persian word ‘Suzan’ meaning needle and were usually textiles of fine linen or silk fabrics
embroidered with extremely fine cotton or silk threads.

This collection has a play of texture with the design part, hand knotted in silk which has a sheen, and the base made out of the
finest merino wool that is more matted in comparison.
The high- low cutting technique gives a 3 dimensional effect and an illusion of a fine embroidery similiar to those from the master
embroiderers of Central Asia.

The motifs include sun and moon patterns, flowers including tulips, carnations, irises, leaves and vines, fruits especially
pomegranates, and sometimes even fish and birds.

It is our take on the transitional Modern meets traditional.

 Zen Collection
This series is inspired by trying to imbibe a feeling of pure bliss into our physical spaces.
These are from our meditation series and in the pursuit to bring a feeling of Peace and Tranquility to the space.
Muted and earthy tones allow for deeper concentration during meditation and the straight lined subtle designs
keep things simple and grounded.

Material - Bamboo silk, some are made in Fine Australian Wool
