Live In.

Our School.
Our school is Yale Junior High School in Yale, Michigan. There is 3 grades
6th, 7th, and 8th. 6th grade has its own hallway, while 7th and 8th grade
share a hallway. Our principal is Mr. Nelson, We also have a vice principal his
name is Mr. Cowan. Mr. Cowan is in the middle picture with his son. Yale
Junior High School used to be the high school for Yale.

Our City
Our city is Yale, Michigan. Yale was
founded in 1871. Yale is famous for
their bologna festival. Yale city is
governed under the 4th class city
charter, originally written in 1895 as
the Fourth Class City Act then
recognized as the cities' charter in
1976.

Our State.
Our state is Michigan. Michigan has the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Michigan is also
home to the only U.S. Naval Sea Cadets program with an actual ship! The USNSCC is always
accepting new recruits! Entering the Sea Cadets is a great way to develop a maritime interest in
American youth. The cadet program is open to anyone between the ages of 10 and 17!
Our Region. (Of the USA.)

The region we live in in the Midwest, the Midwest region has the most tornadoes out of any
region in the United States. The Midwest is famous for the Great Lakes, the great lakes are
mostly centered around Michigan.
Our Country

Our country is The United States of America. The Commander-in-Chief is the Honourable
President Donald Trump. The Secretary of Defence is the Honourable Jim Mattis. The United
States Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. The first President was John Hanson.
The United States Navy was created on October 13, 1775.
Our Continent

The North American Plate is a tectonic plate covering most of North America, Greenland, Cuba,
the Bahamas, extreme northeastern Asia, and parts of Iceland and the Azores. It extends
eastward to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and westward to the Chersky Range in eastern Siberia.

Our Galaxy

The Milky Way is a barred spiral galaxy, about 100,000 light-years across. If you could look
down on it from the top, you would see a central bulge surrounded by four large spiral arms that
wrap around it. Spiral galaxies make up about two-third of the galaxies in the universe.
