IMPORTANTES EN LA HISTORIA
• Identificación demográfica.
• Condiciones médicas del pasado y actuales.
• Cuando comenzó el dolor?
• Como comenzó el dolor?
• Mecanismo de lesión.
• Dolor local o referido?? Local (dolor superficial dentro de limites) Referido (ardor o dolor
profundo sin limites claros).
• Factores intrínsecos o extrínsecos.
• Identificación de trauma o microtrauma.
• Fármacos que enmascaren el dolor.
• Tratamiento previo, frecuencia, intensidad de los síntomas, habilidades funcionales.

ORIGEN DEL DOLOR
Forma de aparición del dolor o la limitación:
• a) Rápido sin causa aparente
• b) Brusca relacionada a un traumatismo
• c) Lenta y progresivamente aumenta la sintomatología en un plazo de días
• d) Lenta y progresivamente aumenta la sintomatología en un plazo de meses o más
Tipo de limitación:
• a) Limitación de la movilidad en algunos de los sentidos de los movimientos del hombro (Ej. hacia delante, hacia afuera, la mano a la espalda,
la mano a la nuca)
• b) Limitación de la movilidad en todos los sentidos
• c) Debilidad en los movimientos del miembro superior, sean proximales o incluyan codo y mano
• d) Debilidad por dolor, (es el dolor que le hace aflojar el movimiento)
