Laws Affecting HRM
• Civil Rights Act of 1964  Title VII  porhibits discrimintation in hirin,
firing, compensation, apprenticeships, training, terms, conditions, or
previleges of employements based on race, religion, creed, age, sex, or
national origin
• Pada 1972 The Equal Employment Oppurtunity Act (EEOA) diambahkan
sebagai amandemen Title VII.
• Affirmative Action  memberikan pilihan untuk wanita dan kelompok
minoritas
• Reverse Discrimination  meniskriminasi terhadap anggota dominan atau
kelompok mayoritas

• The Vocational Rehabiliitation Act of 1973
extended protection to people with any
physical or mental disability.
