 History
 Japan was founded in 660 B.C. by its first Emperor Jimmu.

 In 710 A.D. Buddhism became national religion.

 In 1639 a period of isolation began and it wasn’t till 1853 when it

ended it was about 200 years.

 On July 7,1937 Japan Invaded China

 On August 6, 1945 The first atomic bomb drop in Hiroshima

 Japan has a parliamentary system of government like Britain and

Canada.

 Members of parliament elect a prime minister among themselves

 Japan before would have Emperors that would make all of the laws
 Transportation in Japan
 Shinkansen “Bullet trains”

 Cars

 Only 58.8 percent on Japanese people own cars

 Religion

 The two major religions in Japan are Shinto and Buddhism

 Shinto mean the way of gods focuses on ritual practices with a

connection between past and present day Japan

 My people good to religious sites to pray and practice their

 In 2011 GDP was 46,440 and in 2015 GDP was 32,484

 The economy of Japan is the third-largest in the world by nominal

GDP
 4th in purchasing power and is the world's second largest developed
economy
 Culture

 Most people that live in Japan are very shy

 Very polite and always make sure to be thankful

 The school year starts in April and ends in March due to this they
have 5 weeks of summers.
