Overview of the DA RIA Guidelines

Introduction:
• These Guidelines provide the framework for the
conduct of RIA
• These Guidelines are intended to assist regulatory
agencies to examine and measure the likely costs,
benefits and effects of new or existing regulations to its
operation and its intended stakeholders, thereby
making the policies more effective and efficient

Scope:
DA RIA Guidelines provides the framework and practical
guidance for the conduct of RIA for all regulatory
instruments covering agricultural and fishery sectors
that potentially impose significant costs to the
government and target stakeholders.


Section 3. General Characteristics of RIA:
