• Total land area of 137, 934 hectares

• Has eight (8) tributaries from six (6)


municipalities /cities
What is Cagayan de Oro River Basin
Management Council (CDORBMC)?

• Governing body
• Created on November 10, 2010
• Protection, rehabilitation and
management of the CDO river
basin
Vision
• A rehabilitated, sustainably
protected and preserved, and
well-managed CDO river basin in
2020

Mission
• To oversee and catalyze multi-
stakeholders for the rehabilitation,
protection, preservation, and
management of the CDO River
Basin
