KONSEP ELEKTRONISASI
Elektronisasi pekerjaan berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan perkembangan IT, terutama
teknologi komunikasi dan jaringan, untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi dalam
semua aktivitas (proses bisnis).
Peran IT salah satunya dalam pendesainan ulang proses bisnis internal (internal
business process redesigning).
Pada era saat ini elektronisasi telah menjadi kebutuhan.

Secara lebih nyata elektronisasi bermanfaat untuk:
1. Meningkatkan efektifitas strategi organisasi.

1. Organisasi-individu.
2. Nilai transaksi tidak terlalu besar.

4. Proses relatif lebih simple.
B2B/G2B/G2G:
1. Antar organisasi.
2. Nilai transaksi relatif besar.
3. Hubungan berkelanjutan.
4. Proses transaksi lebih kompleks.
5. Metode transaksi lebih bervariatif.

Protokol standar untuk membantu proses transfer data/informasi secara elektronik
antar pihak.

BENTUK JARINGAN
Local area network (LAN) — a system of computers and other devices, such as
printers, that are located in close proximity to each other.
Wide area network (WAN) — covers a wide geographic area.
KOMPONEN DASAR KOMUNIKASI DATA
Sending device.
Receiving device.
Communications interface device. Ex: modem, remote access devices, hub, router.
Communications channel, medium that connects the sender and the receiver. Ex:
coaxial, standard lines, fiber optic, satellites.
Communication software, manages the flow of data across a network.
KONSEP CLIENT-SERVER
Server: a program that constantly runs on some computers and exchanges information
with clients.
Client: a program that accesses and exchanges information with a server.
Servers can deal with hundreds of users (clients) at one time.
