• Black ink lines should be solid and
uniformly black in all parts of the
drawing
• Frame / Border (if required) must not
be thicker than 1pt black solid line
• Should be simple, clear, free of clutter,
and suitably proportioned, right
perspective, not microscopic
• Legends for graphs and labels must be
applied as needed

• Must maintain definition when printed in Maligayang

• Show only information relevant to the text in a clear reader-
friendly style

• For diagrams, maps and other technical drawings, ensure labels are
clear and reader friendly.
• The font used should
conform to the
recommended font family
and styles as specified in
the desktop publishing
specifications.
• Keep ample contrast
between the labels and
the background. Use
arrows as needed to
connect labels to parts of
the diagram being
emphasized.

Tips for Effective Book Covers

• The title should be big and easy to


read. (Consistent in size and Typeface)
• Do not use cheap clip art on your cover. (dont
palgiarize, create your own)
• Do not use any of the following fonts Comic
Sans or Papyrus
• No font explosions and special styling.
• Avoid gradients.
