Problems before using ERP:

Before using ERP, it was difficult to meet the demand of the

market, as there was no integration with the sales & marketing
department to others like, commercial, production,
procurement, technical department, audit department etc. to
fulfill the goal to be the market leader. But after using ERP
they solve the problem. It was difficult to forecast the demand
of production, information were not available to all the related
department, so they had to face lot of difficulties.
Square Informatix Ltd.:

 The IT division of Square Pharmaceuticals emerged as a separate entity

with the name ‘Square Informatix Ltd (SIL)’ in 2000.

year 1992
 Square developed another software for its human resource department in
1995
 Square also kept developing various other software that addressed issues of
quality control, inventory management and production.
 Square Consumer Products Ltd (which was later renamed as Square Food
and Beverage) used the integrated version of the software first successfully.
 Gradually, this software turned into a complete ERP by integrating all issues

sales and distribution management.
 Square Informatix proudly named the software as ConSIL.
