Pengertian

Passive sentence (kalimat

pasif) adalah suatu bentuk
gramatikal (tata bahasa) dimana
subject kalimat tidak melakukan aksi,
melainkan menerima aksi.
Pada kalimat pasif, subjek bisa
disebutkan ataupun tidak.

• When the subject is unknown
The tickets are sold
• When the subject is not important
The clinic can be visited between 8 am and
3 pm.
• Passive is used more in public
information.
Cycling is not permitted in this area
