VISSION
A vision statement should answer the basic question, “What do we want to become?”
A clear vision provides the foundation for developing a comprehensive mission
statement

MISSION
Mission statement shoud answers the question “What is our business?

2. Pasar / kelompok pelanggan utama yang akan dilayani
3. Teknologi yang akan digunakan dalam produksi / distribusi
4. Keinginan mendasar perusahaan akan kelangsungan hidup melalui pertumbuhan
dan profitabilitas
5. Filosofi manajerial perusahaan
6. Citra publik yang diharapkan perusahaan
7. Konsep diri yang harus dimiliki semua yang berafiliasi dengan perusahaan
8. Kepekaan terhadap keinginan konsumen
9. Kepedulian terhadap kualitas

Menjadi Perusahaan penerbangan yang handal dengan menawarkan layanan
yang berkualitas kepada masyarakat dunia menggunakan keramahan
Indonesia.
MISI
Sebagai perusahaan penerbangan pembawa bendera bangsa Indonesia yang
mempromosikan Indonesia kepada dunia guna menunjang pembangunan
ekonomi nasional dengan memberikan pelayanan yang profesional.
KASUS
Pada tahun 2010 Maskapai garuda Indonesia mengalami kegagalan dalam
pergantian sistem kontrol yang menyebabkan penundaan penerbangan dengan
sejumlah rute seperti Banda Aceh, Medan, Surabaya, Semarang, Denpasar, and
Singapur.
