RECOMMENDATIONS

Humanities and Social Sciences

1. Schools need to establish systematic programs to
stop cyberbullying. Such programs should develop
strong policies on both traditional bullying and
cyberbullying.

Humanities and Social Sciences

2. Schools should educate school adults, students, and
parents about cyberbullying and provide clear procedures
to follow when cyberbullying occurs.

3. Students, a key group in fighting cyberbullying, need to
learn responsibilities associated with the use of technology.
They should be aware of the consequences of misuse of
technology so that responsible behaviors can be promoted
at an early age. They need to understand the dangers that
exist and the importance of getting help from responsible
adults when cyberbullying occurs.
