• Our story today of Chatar Patar is an
ambitious venture which plans to brand a
product that India has been consuming since
aeons, but never had a single brand name
attached to it. They have launched India’s first
pani-puri brand.
Founder – (Mr. Prashant Kulkarni )
• The master mind behind creation of
chatarpatar is Mr. Prashant Kulkarni. A young
entrepreneur who always believes in the
power of ideas, and also know how ideas can
be implemented successfully.
IDEA GENERATION
• When Prashant Kulkarni was working at
Infosys, he ate roadside pani-puri and fell prey
to food-poisoning and could not eat his
favorite fast-food, for almost four months.
• This incident spurred Prashant to research
about pani-puri offerings in the country and
he discovered there was no brand that was
synonmous with the product.

• Fast food industry is influenced by political balanced
atmosphere. For example, in countries like UAE and Saudi
Arabia where monarch rule different laws enacted but in
democratic country like India rules are dissimilar. Food
franchise operate around the world need to follow host
country's rules and regulations

Economic
• Economic disturbances affect food industry trends. In
undeveloped countries where employment rates are low
people spend low on food items as well. Also taxation, food
interest rates and high prices affect consumer spending in
developed and developing countries as well.
Social
• Tremendous growth of fast food item in recent time is
completely depending on social lifestyle of people living in
different regions. For example people who are native of metro
cities are more food lovers as compared to rural ones.

Technology
• Thanks to fast growing technology because online booking
system, fast home delivery and quick services restaurant
culture is result of involving technology into operational
activities of restaurants.
Environmental
• Fast food industry operators need to ensure that activities are
took place to build green environment. No operational
activities create any kind of harm to natural environment as
well as people's health

Legal
• Last but not the least, specific food and safety laws have
affected growth of fast food franchise. For example in India
beef meat is not allowed legally when global operator start
operational activities Indians have protested against them. In
the end they work as per local rules and regulations.
