HIPOKAMPUS ?
• Hipokampus (bahasa Inggris :
Hippocampus) adalah bagian dari otak
besar yang terletak di lobus temporal.
Istilah hipokampus diturunkan dari
bentuknya pada potongan koronal
yang menyerupai kuda laut. (Bahasa
Yunani : hippo:kuda, kampos:monster
laut).  Hipokampus merupakan
bagian dari sistem limbik dan berperan
pada kegiatan mengingat (memori)
dan navigasi ruangan.
• The hippocampus (hip-o ˉKAM -pus /
seahorse) is a portion of the
parahippocampal gyrus that extends
into the floor of the lateral ventricle
• The hippocampus helps humans
process and retrieve two kinds of
memory, declarative memories and
spatial relationships.
• Declarative memories are those
related to facts and events. Examples
include learning how to memorize
speeches or lines in a play.
• Spatial relationship memories
involve pathways or routes. For
example, when a cab driver learns a
route through a city, they use spatial
memory. Spatial relationship
memories appear to be stored in the
right hippocampus.
• The hippocampus is also where
short-term memories are turned
into long-term memories. These are
then stored elsewhere in the brain.
AMYGDALA
• The amygdala (a-MIG-da-la;
amygda- / almond-shaped) is
composed of several groups of
neurons located close to the tail of
the caudate nucleus.
• Amigdala berasal dari bahasa latin
amygdalae (bahasa Yunani
αμυγδαλή, amygdalē, almond,
'amandel') adalah sekelompok saraf
yang berbentuk kacang almond.
• Amigdala dipercayai merupakan
bagian otak yang berperan dalam
melakukan pengolahan dan ingatan
terhadap reaksi emosi.
• The amygdala receives a rich
monoaminergic innervation. The
noradrenergic projection arises
primarily from the locus coeruleus,
serotonergic fibres arise from the
dorsal and, to some extent the
median, raphe nuclei, and the
dopaminergic innervation arises
primarily in the midbrain ventral
tegmental area.
PAPEZ CIRCUIT
• The Papez circuit /peɪpz/, or medial
limbic circuit, is a neural circuit for
the control of emotional expression.
• Function : Memory  Theta waves
(The "hippocampal theta rhythm“ and
"Cortical theta rhythms“). Theta
waves generate the theta rhythm, a
neural oscillatory (osilasi) pattern
that can be seen on an
electroencephalogram (EEG),
recorded either from inside the brain
or from electrodes attached to the
scalp. Neural oscillations, or
brainwaves, are rhythmic or
repetitive patterns of neural activity
in the central nervous system. Neural
tissue can generate oscillatory • Emotion
activity in many ways, driven either • The circuit connects the hypothalamus and the cortex
by mechanisms within individual and acts as the emotional system of the brain. "The
neurons or by interactions between cingulate cortex projects to the hippocampus, and the
neurons. Theta waves are thought to hippocampus projects to the hypothalamus by way of

the bundle of axons called the fornix. Hypothalamic
• effects reach the cortex via a relay in the anterior
thalamic nuclei.
The subiculum (Latin
for "support") is the
most inferior
component of the
Hippocampus hippocampal
formation.
HEDONIC HOTSPOTS

• Distribusi Reward Pathway melalui

mekanisme hedonic yang ditemukan di deep
in the brain (nucleus accumbens, ventral
pallidum, brainstem) dan di cortex
(orbitofrontal, cingulate, medial prefrontal,
and insular cortices).
HEDONIC HOTSPOT
“Liking” for sensory pleasure
reward. The reward stimuli from :
food,sex,or feel.
Located on Nucleus Acumbers and
