Tanjung Puting National Park

This incredible National Park is located in Central Kalimantan.
It is by the Sungai Sekonyer River where the klotok sail, and where the
piers are to visit the three feeding platforms of the orangutans.
Its extension 4150 square km, on the east bank as you enter the river.

The other margin, that of the left, is not a national park, and it is the most compromised zone,
because it is where the famous and dangerous plantations from which palm oil is obtained are
found.
Currently they present a serious problem against the conservation of the orangutan.
Palm oil leaves a lot of money, and is destroying a lot of jungle, this implies that orangutans are
losing their habitat and the population is falling alarmingly.

But not only are these primates affected, many other species suffer the
consequences of arson, loss of habitat. According to Faris, the local
population is very distressed and outraged at what is happening, and they
are aware that if no action is taken, the orangutans will disappear.
