Blind Flanges for Spools Report

Timeline
Shadi sent the blind plug to workshop 4 with coordination with Eldar for transport. He give the
drawing with Arastun for re threading or tapping. He was informed that work was done and
shown it for approval. Then its says ok to send for fitting/installation. But it turn out different on
site.
Solution can be done by plugging the hole and open a new one which we done previously with
same work carried out by Enermech guys.
Original set up of blind flange which can see the original blind
plug just sit very little as thread restriction.
Removed plug and try to fit the fitting (2” NPT) that they need
to use but it cannot go through as require
Length of thread : 28.79 mm which will go in 35 mm depth.
Original thread un touch with fitting that they will need to use
Fitting that they need to use on it, if you can notice after trying it just
20% of thread catches with flange making them incompatible and
unusable .
