STEWARDSHIP
 STEWARDSHIP PRAYER
Oh Lord, giver of life and source of our
freedom, we are reminded that Yours is
“the earth in its fullness; the world and
those who dwell in it.” We know that it is
from your hand that we have received
all we have and are and will be.
Gracious and loving God, we
understand that you call us to be the
stewards of Your abundance, the
caretakers of all you have entrusted to
us. Help us always to use your gifts
wisely and teach us to share them
generously. May our faithful stewardship
bear witness to the love of Christ in our
lives. We pray this with grateful hearts in
Jesus’ name. Amen.

 We are given much freedom
in this life,

 Yet we are also given great

responsibility.

 Happiness and holiness are

to be found NOT in a life of
lasciviousness, but by daily
putting into practice what is
right in the eyes of God.
 The Lord gives to us the gift
of free will. Yet freedom
does not mean the license to
do as we please.

 True freedom is the capacity

to act in a way that
corresponds to our human
dignity and to our
responsibility as disciples.
Material things are good
but they are not our own.
* They are loan to us by our
creator and thus we may
enjoy them, take care of
them, but never seek to
possess them or let them be
a source of pride.
For Benedictines…
All of our material
goods can be put to
service in one way or
another.
* We are the stewards of
all that is around.

success to whatever you do to heal
mother earth, what will you do?
 If you’re are given 100M without
strings attach from you but would
definitely cause a destruction of a
mountain hundred of miles away
from you, will you accept it?
That in all things,
God may be
glorified!
