Computer Language
 Human language are known as natural language.

Computers can not understand natural language. As a


result we must communicate with computer using
computer languages.

Machine Language
 Machine: “0110101100101000” machine language ia a
collection of binary digit or bits that the computer
reads and interprets.

Assembly Language
 assembly languages have the same structure as
machine language, but they enable a programmer to
use names mnemonic codes instead of numbers.

Low Level Language
 A low level programming language is a programming
language that provides little or no abstraction from a
computer’s instruction set architecture – commands or
functions in the language map closely to processor
instruction. Generally this refers to either machine
code or assembly language.

High Level Language
 A high-level language is a programming language
such as C, FORTRAN, or Pascal that enables a
programmer to write programs that are more or less
independent of a particular type of computer such
language are considered high level language because
they are closer to human language and further from
machine languages.
