INTRODUCTION

In India RAWE program is recommended the by Randhawa committee in 1992

AIM

The aim of RAWE is to understand the rural life and methods and implementation of those practices
On the fields by farmers.

There is a interaction between farmer and student in which student will come to know the cropping pattern
Of Particular area.
OBJECTIVE

RAWE is helpful for the understanding the rural community life style and different situations related
to crop and farmer life

To develop confidence and competence in students for solving problems related to agriculture.

RAWE is helpful to transfer of new technology to the farmer.

Also help to know about socio economic conditions of the farmer.

RAWE is also helpful for gaining knowledge form the farmer.

Student will know about the farmers problem which are important.

Student can improve their skill of plant production and plant protection.

To develop the confidence and communication skills of farmers and students.

1) Excess and un even Rainfall

2) Small Fragmented Land holdings

3) Absence of sound marketing facilities

4) Agricultural labour

5) Lack of awareness in the New Technologies

6) No proper supply of Fertilizers, Pesticides and Insecticides by the Government in time

7) Some are quitting the farming.

8) Urbanization of Youth.
