Recommendations This current research addresses the Muslim people in the Philippines who plan to perform Hajj to make this assessment as a guide before going to Makkah. To evaluate Hajj in the Philippine Area, particularly the process, policies, agencies, and loopholes encountered by Muslim pilgrims, and aims to come up with ideas, solutions and suggestions related to the study. A.Cultural Anthropology -as defined by Bailey and Peoples (2012), is the study contemporary and historically recent human societies and cultures. B. Theory of Intellectual or Cognitive Approach -Proponents of the Theory of Intellectual/Cognitive Approach to Religion presumes that humans require an explanation for the things happening around them. C. Motivational Theory of Pilgrimage -In the Motivational Theory for Pilgrimage conducted by Ruth Blackwell, anthropological theories of Motivation were presented to identify the motives of pilgrims. D. Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs -Maslow (1943) desired to understand what motivates people to seek for their needs. 1. What is the level of spiritual fulfillment attained by the Muslim pilgrims? * A total 300 respondents from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao who performed the religious pilgrimage from 2016 will be the population of this study. *Stratified sampling was applied to determine the number of respondents or sample size through Slovene’s formula: S = N___ 1+N(e)2 Time line of interviews to be conducted from the Muslim pilgrims and Department of foreign Affairs, the National Council on Muslim Filipinos, and the National Ulama Council of the Philippines. • Majority among the respondents believed that going to Mecca in order to become Hajj is a way of cleansing their sins. • It symbolizes also their economic status. • They agreed that it is a spiritual fulfillment in their part to become Hajj. * This will assist them ( Muslims) in their over- all preparations before embarking on the religious pilgrimage, Hajj *Great help for the leaders and officials to plan for further improvement of services catered by the agencies concern in the pilgrimage. • Problems on the inadequacy of Hajj materials and facilities should be addressed with utmost concern. • There should be a massive multimedia information dissemination drive for the processing of paper schedule and deadlines. • For the pilgrims, they should watched film showing the rituals for familiarity with the basics of Hajj.
