Configure Basic data The following table describes the procedure for configuring basic data for an eNodeB. Function Area Procedure 1. Run the LST NODE command to check the value of Working Mode in the command output.•If Product Type is DBS3900, BTS3900, BTS3900A, BTS3900L, BTS3900AL, DBS3900 LampSite, it is a co-MPT base station working in LTE mode. Node Configuration attributes
2. •If Product Type is DBS3900 LTE, BTS3900 LTE,
BTS3900A LTE, BTS3900L LTE, BTS3900AL LTE, DBS3900A LTE, DBS3900 LampSite LTE, perform the following operation. 1.Run the SET NE command to set the NE name, site NE configuration attribites name, site location, and deployment identifier. 1.Run the SET MNTMODE command to set the NE maintenance Mode maintenance mode. 1.Run the ADD ENODEBFUNCTION command to add eNodeB function the eNodeB function. 1.Run the ADD CNOPERATOR command to add an operator. 2.Run the ADD CNOPERATORTA command to add a tracking area (TA) for the eNodeB. Operator

1.Run the ADD CABINET command to add a cabinet. Cabinet and subracks 2.Run the ADD SUBRACK to add a BBU subrack. Cabinet, Subrack and BBU data 1.Run the ADD BRD command to add a board to the Boards in the BBU subrack BBU. You need to add boards based on the physical 1.Run theboard configurations ADD RRUCHAIN in the to command BBU. add an RRU chain or ring between the BBU and the RRU/RFU. 2.Run the ADD RRU command to add an RRU/RFU to a specified chain or ring and set RF Unit Working Mode to specify the working mode for the RRU/RFU. 3.Run the MOD RRU command to set the maintenance mode for the RRU/RFU. RF unit and ALD data RRU/RFU+ALD 4.Set the control port of an ALD. 5.(Optional) Configure a RET antenna.a.Run the ADD RET command to add a RET antenna. b.Run the MOD RETSUBUNIT command to modify the configuration of a RET subunit. 1.Run the ADD GPS command to add a GPS clock link. 2.Run the SET CLKMODE to set the working mode of the reference clock. Time data GPS Clock 3.Run the SET CLKSYNCMODE to set the synchronization mode of the reference clock.
Configuring Transport data Transport data can be configured in link mode or endpoint mode. Link mode An SCTP link and an IP path on a transport interface must be configured for the link mode, and the information about the involved ports is negotiated by local and peer devices. When configuring a transmission link, set parameters, such as source IP address, destination IP address, source SCTP port number, and destination SCTP port number, at both source and destination ends. Endpoint mode The port information about the transport interface must be configured for the endpoint mode. Endpoint mode is recommended. When configuring a transmission link, set end point parameters such as eNodeB control and user planes at the source end as well as MME/S- GW/eNodeB parameters at the destination end. The eNodeB automatically generates S1 and X2 interfaces based on end point parameters.
Endpoint mode Since in Orange we are using endpoint mode, so we will discuss only endpoint mode:
Function Area Procedure
1. If the planned data is different from the default data, run the ADD ETHPORT command or run the SET ETHPORT command to add or modify an Ethernet port and set its Physical layer parameters, such as the speed, duplex mode, and port attribute.
1. If VLAN networking is used, configure VLAN data based
on the VLAN plan •If VLAN networking is based on the next-hop IP address, run ADD VLANMAP and SET DSCMAP Data link layer •If VLAN networking is based on the source IP address, run the ADD SUBNETVLAN command to add an entry of mapping between a source IP address and a VLAN.
