10 Security Classification
siempre debe estar actualizado.
• De ahí la importancia del equipo multidisciplinario. Debe estar siempre actualizado.
• FTQ (First Time Quality)

Maintaining & Levering PFMEAs
Projects First Time Quality (FTQ) - QVC
• One day per week the solver problem responsible make meetings about FTQ. There is a
schedule of some points to review: Quality performance, Supplier performance, FTQ
analysis, I&CIM analysis, FTQ projects, FTQ metrics, FTQ-Top 5, etc. Some areas shall
be involved in this meetings, manufacturing, engineering, quality, etc.
• It is the responsibility of Quality, Manufacturing and ME to define the Quality Gates for
each production process. Quality Gates are defined based on the next items: Customer
Complaints; Product & Process Inspection data; History of Quality gates; Labeling and
Packaging Control data; Product Audit; Internal & External Manufacturing Audits.
Security Classification
Customer Alerts
• The quality area need to notify the customer alerts to all plant team. There are some
different alerts : Non-Conformance Ticket (NCT) – Chrysler and PRR - GM, this is when
we have a formal complaint and when we need to make a containment plan and
afterwards we have 15 days to make an action plan to the costumer ,all the
multidisciplinary team need to be involved.
• Other complaint is Wiring Incident Report (WIR), this is a not formal complaint but it is
important because we need to make an action plan to the costumer and improve our
processes if it is required.
• For a NCT, PRR or a WIR, we need to make an action plan and it needs to be registered
in the Flow Chart Diagram, PFMEA and the Control Plan document.
• If there is a five whys (complaints), the action’s plan may be also in these documents as
recommended action.
Security Classification
Complaints
DPRTS is the global system where the complaints are registered. This give a
record about the corrective actions implemented and allows the interplant
sharing. The problems are evaluated and solved, and the PFMEA is updated
during this process with the multifunctional team participation.
Security Classification
RPN Evaluations
For this risk evaluation, we consider the Priority risk number as an input, where the
severity, the occurrence and the detection (SOD) determine the importance of the
analysis.
Failure modes with a high risk, need to be contained through internal actions (Poka
Yokes), removing the root causes of a failure mode.
Security Classification
Special Characteristics
Special conditions in our processes (special characteristics) that imply quality
risks are identified and documented in FMEA, PDF, work method and control
plan; internal controls are assigned and monitored by the multidisciplinary team.
