• Holography is a photographic technique that records the
light scattered from an object, and then presents it in a way
that appears three-dimensional.
• Hologram is a three dimensional image formed by
interference of light beams from a laser or other coherent
light source.
• The theory of holography was developed by Dennis Gabor in
1947.
