LAB EXAM INSTRUCTIONS –

REMOTE PROCTORING
Instruction for the Lab Exam

• URL: http://wilp-bits.platifi.com/
• After booking the slot, click on the web rdp. The web rdp enable at the time
of their respective examination date.
• Before the remote desktop it will direct you to the page where students make
sure that have to enable the camera and microphone setting will appear in
the popup menu dialog box and click Ok.
• It is very important to enable the camera and microphone before starting the lab.

• save your file in network folder in the remote desktop as well as the e-learn
portal (with Google Chrome)
• Close the window once you complete
Lab practical Regular Exam on (08.04.2019-14.04.2019)
and makeup exam on (15.04.2019-21.04.2019) for non-
specific students.
Points to remember

• Slots for the exams would be enabled from 05.04.2019 for booking.
• Make sure you have a webcam and stable internet connection while attempting
the exam. Make sure you have a good internet connectivity of at least 1 mbps.
• There are different set of questions for both regular and makeup examination.
• We will give 2 hours for each user to complete their assignments.
• For regular Exam user can be able to book only one slot. After the regular exam
got over we will open the slot for makeup exam.
• Students who are unable to appear for Regular Lab exam during April 8 to 14,
2019, can apply for permission to take the Make-up Lab exam, which are
scheduled from April 15 to 21, 2019. Only genuine reason will be accepted.
• We will monitor all the students’ activity through webcam with the help of
PlatiFi Team.
Points to remember

• We will ask students not to involve any malfunctioning during exam. If we find
any students doing so, we grade them zero.
• Students need to be uploaded their assignment in the E-learn portal as well
as network folder as soon as you complete your assignments.
• The report should be in pdf or ppt format. While saving the file it should be
named as Id.no_ date of exam_ slot timing. (i.e.) 2018TH01568_0804_24
0804- 8th April 2019 24 - Slot Time is 2 p.m-4 p.m
• First Page of the Report should be compulsory Hall Ticket
• Hall Ticket followed by ppt .

• Students can perform the experiment with their respective tools. After
completing their problem save your file in network folder in the remote
desktop as well as the e-learn portal by opening the google chrome. While
saving the file it should be named as Id.no_ date of exam_ slot timing. (i.e.)
