 MAMS is a software developed for daily student attendance in

schools, collages
 To access the attendance information of a particular student in a
particular class.
 To turn the computerized process into Mobilized process
 A Simple mobile application designed for all attendance requirements
 ABSTRACT

The main objective of this project is to add mobilization and

automation to the process of managing information’s of Student’s attendance
details. The mobile technology has been chosen for this study. The methodology of
this work is to develop an android based mobile attendance management system
where attendance can be recorded via mobile. In this app, Staff’s can register their
details. . It includes information such as staff id, name, mail id, address and contact
number. After the registration, Staffs can take and view various student’s
attendance details. Therefore here is single way process of taking attendance. Thus
the app helps the staffs to get information easily.
 EXISTING SYSTEM STUDY

In the existing system, Staffs does intranet computerized process of

student’s information. It consumes more time to get details. Generating the reports
of the student’s absentees and calculating attendance percentage of the student is
difficult. Hence we proposed this application to overcome the drawbacks of the
existing system.
 DRAWBACKS

 Maintaining computerized processes.

 We cannot access Anytime/Anywhere
 PROPOSED SYSTEM STUDY

In the proposed system, MAMS gives portability and keep safe

information and also time saving. Speed of the processing is very high compared
to the old system of processing. It provides the flexibility of generating the reports
such as student wise ,class wise and day wise attendance details. There by
increasing the efficiency and decreasing the workload. No risk of errors which can
be occurred while marking the attendance.
 ADVANTAGES OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM

 Teachers can be quickly informed of absence

 More secure
 Easy to update or make changes
 We can search a particular record easily

The project contains the following modules.

 Administrator Module
 New User Registration Module
 Login Module
 Student Module
 INPUT DETAILS

Administrator Module

This module is used to login for administrator,

When select the admin ,can modify all records. admin have whole
rights to monitor and manage the entire project, through this
module, new information can be insert, update, view and delete.
Whatever administrator can do.
 New User Registration Module

This module is used to register the new users(staffs)

information and it will be store in database. The information such as
name, password, date of birth, department, phone no and email id
are collected. The collected details are sent to the database for the
purpose of login. After the registration, staffs can take attendance
and generate reports.
 Login Module

In this module, admin or staffs can logging in to your account by

entering the user credentials. After the login, staffs can view the home page
and will continues the other processes.
 Student Module

This module can be used for student registration. The

information such as name, reg-no, gender, course, department,
mobile no and address are collected and the collected information is
stored in the database. We can add many student’s entry and view the
student details .
 OUTPUT DETAILS

In this project user(staffs) can register there details,and can

take attendance and viewing attendance details. After that, staff
can generate reports.
