Water crisis

Our locality has been facing an acute shortage of

water from many years . In some localities water is
available only for an hour in the morning and an hour
in the evening and in some areas no water is available
at all . People have to fetch water from wells or have
to depend on water tankers . Water tanker operators
are having a field day and charging exorbitant rates .
It is not an uncommon sites to see people lining up in
queues near public water taps or near wells with
buckets in their hands . The government appears to
be blissfully unaware of the situation and has taken no
positive measures to alleviate the misery of the people
.
1. Ban industries that consume much water resources and cause
pollution and support them.
2. Everyone have to be aware of what we are into. Take self initiative and
responsibility to spread awareness.
3. Never give any water project to private sector. It's not the one to be
played with business models.
4. Recycling plants to use drainage waters back for purpose where
contamination or hygiene is not needed much. So that people won't
exploit good water.
GARBAGE AND ITS SOLUTIONS
In our loacality, has no concrete garbage disposal policy. There are heaps and
heaps of garbage dumped everywhere and burnt in most places. Most people
who burn their plastics, domestic waste do not realize how harmful this
practice is to their health and to the enviornment. Burning could lead to
release of poisonous gases in the atmosphere, elevating the major problem of
global warming.

HERE ARE SOME SOLUTIONS……..

Collect the garbage together re-cycle it or can be
used as fertilizer for your plants.Drop the
garbage into dustbins.Make less use of plastics.
Traffic congestion
• Traffic congestion is a condition on transport networks that
occurs as use increases, and is characterized by slower
speeds, longer trip times, and increased vehicular queueing.
When traffic demand is great enough that the interaction
between vehicles slows the speed of the traffic stream, this
results in some congestion. While congestion is a possibility
for any mode of transportation, this article will focus on
automobile congestion on public roads.
SOLUTIONS:
 Introduce electronic road pricing and road-space
rationing systems
 Encourage more people to opt for bicycles
 Road tax should be levied on car owners depending
on their road usage each day Latest
MONKEY EXISTENCE
Deforestation and habit
degradation have primarily
contributed to monkeys moving into
human settlements over the last
few decades.
Long-term scientific measures are
the only solution to monkey
menace.
MONKEYS EXISTENCE
SOLUTIONS ;
If your garden is big enough, this is the
perfect solution to your monkey
problem. Natural-born tree dwellers,
monkeys spend much of their day
dining and sleeping in the branches and
if there is fruit to be eaten, their
attention will be far removed from your
house and the many delights it is filled
with. Monkeys are opportunists, so
don’t give them the opportunity to take
what is yours. There are a variety of
indigenous fruit-bearing trees monkeys
go mad for, including Natal plum, Natal
fig and avocado trees, which is a great
way of keeping the monkeys at bay
while adding another beautiful tree to
your garden.
It’s a growing problem with mounting
concerns about the “free-range” cattle on
roads posing a danger to those in cars and
on motorbikes.

CATTLE owners have again been

warned to stop allowing their cattle to
roam the streets or face prosecution.
CATTLE ROAMING
 The solution lies in relocating the dairies centrally outside
the city. Let no one be allowed to keep cattle outside his
house and sell milk. It creates such a muck in the area and
is a nuisance to the people. The authorities have to create
infrastructure for these dairies so that the owners can
operate them. Thereafter creating huge gaushalas ,at
appropriate locations which can house thousands of such
cattle.
Sewage pollution
Pollution caused by sewage water is one of the
major problems in cities the world
over. Sewage water is drained off into rivers
without treatment. Careless disposal
of sewage water leads to creation of a chain of
problems like spreading of diseases such as
typhoid , jaundice.
Solutions ;
1.Do not dump sewage around or in rivers
One of the leading cause of water pollution is dumping trash into
freshwater sources. Avoiding to do this will help you ensure that
water sources will not become contaminated. Irrespective of
what you might dump into the water, think about the fact that
you will be introducing a new substance into the water supply.
The waste you dump starts it on a fast path toward full
contamination. If you want safe drinking water, then you should
maintain water sources clean.
2.Clean up rivers .
SEWAGE POLLUTION
STREET CLEANING PROBLEM
Roads condition and its solution;
• The roads in our villages, towns and cities are bumpy and are not
traffic-worthy. In villages there are ups and downs on the streets or
roads and if it is dark one may stumble. The municipalities and
corporations are not particular in laying good roads, in mending them.
• Even in the cities the roads are not well-tarred and there is no footpath.
Except in the main thoroughfares there are no footpaths. A person has
to walk on the sides of a road and when two or three vehicles from the
opposite directions come it is quite difficult for a pedestrian to give way
to the vehicles. This is a strange situation in Indian towns and cities.
• The first duty of a municipality or corporation is to provide good
drinking water to the people and to keep the streets and roads in good
condition so that people can walk on the sides and vehicles can be
driven with the least obstruction. Here in India roads are in bad shape.
The suburbs of the towns and the cities have bad roads with the result
that there is traffic bottleneck.
