 A solar panel is a device like heating water
and agriculture. Daylight is a place of
energy to produce electricity.
 Solar energy converted into water heating
or electricity.
 Regularly cleaning of solar panels was
creating and supplies the high amount of
energy to the grid.

3
FEATURES

09/05/2019 08:32
 To increase the efficiency of the plate.

 To reduce cleaning cost of the cleaning process.

 To reduce the labour cost.

 To reduce the time of the cleaning.

 Controlling by it self.

 To remove dust particles. 4

WORKING PRINCIPAL
 The main aim of this project is dust cleaning
mechanism of solar panel surface.
 In order to sense the dust infrared(IR) LED, Photo
diode arrangement is used.
 Infrared (IR) rays continuously fall on the panel and
reflected back to photo diode.
 If there is any dust on the panel, IR rays
continuously falling on the panel reflect back to the
photo diode is less thus the output of sensor goes high
and these signals are fed to microcontroller.
 Wiper is connected to motor wiper which rotates in
clockwise and anti-clockwise direction.
6
SYSTEM COMPONENTS

09/05/2019 08:32
 IR Sensor:- used for detecting dust on solar
panel
 Aurduno Uno:- Open source low cost micro
controller
 Driver:- 12volt dc motor driver

 Limiting switch :- used for limit the path

FUTURE SCOPE

 Robots can be advanced to be well dressed, like a

cleans any PV panel outside, it will be keep safe
the facts provided about size and its location.

 Robot weight can be increasing make it stable,

the robot shape can be change better than
cleaning mechanism.
