Observation of different cultures allows us to form pattern.

Because with observation we know more about the similarities
and differences between one culture to the other culture.

Because we are social being, we need to help each other
among our communities. But sometimes being individual is
necessary since we have to have our own privacy.
Generalizations capture similarities and hide differences.

Disagree If generalizations can capture the similarities, there is no doubt

it can also capture the differences.
Example: if we do a generalization of a group of people, we
figure out what their similarities are. So, we can conclude that
the characteristics which are not include the differences are the
similarities.
Regarding people of the same culture as all being the same is
harmful and dangerous.

Agree We cannot judge people of the same culture as all being the
same because every person is unique.
 People from other culture often act strangely.

opinion If we don’t know the culture of a certain group of people, we
might think that they act strangely and different from us. On
the other hand, if we know well the culture of a certain group
of people, we might not think that they act strangely.
Ignoring the difference between the cultures is dangerous.

leads us to misunderstand the differences of cultures.
We can categorise certain groups of people according to
how they behave.
