Customer Categories & Target segment through UCVD & DOST
1) CAT – E: Customer profile, First time User [FTU] / First time Buyer [FTB], Driver cum owner having prior experience with
valid DL.

2) CAT – D: Customer profile, First time User [FTU] / First time Buyer [FTB], having prior experience with Agriculture land

3) CAT – C: Customer profile, First time User [FTU] / First time Buyer [FTB], having prior experience with House property

4) CAT – B: Customer with experience in managing a vehicle and had prior owner ship of having a vehicle without
repayment track record [RTR]

5) CAT – A: Customer with experience in managing a vehicles and had prior owner ship of having a vehicle with proven
repayment track record [RTR] (Prior Vehicle with RTR & with ownership of 1 or 2 vehicles)

6) Captive Customer: Customer who purchases a vehicle for his own business purpose and has ITR / Financials
Why Equitas ? What are our USP’s ?
1) Part payment can be made in a year, as only company in CV industry to do so. The part payment get’s adjusted towards
the Principle amount. [There is an options for reducing the EMI and tenure will be given and Upto 20% of loan amount
can be paid once in QTR].
2) Child loans for repairing the vehicle, adjustment amount to bring vehicle on road if the insurance claim is less.
3) SAATHI loans for renewal of insurance.

Definition of UCVD
Used commercial vehicle dealer can be categorised under two segments:

a. ORGANISED - OEM dealers and manufacturer driven used vehicle dealers / Pre-Owned Online Platforms
b. SEMI-ORGANISED - Individuals in buying and selling, Buying-refurbishing and selling, Buying -stocking-selling
a. Organised:

These are dealers who are supported by the Manufacturers like TATA- TATA OK, AL, M&M, EICHER, and also dealers like
Shriram Auto mall, Mahindra First choice etc.
a. Semi-Organised:

Definition of this category is those dealers who have a small set up of buying and selling of CVs, buying, refurbishing and
selling of CVs. Have a stability of 5 or greater years of experience in this trade either through work shop or through buying
and selling.
Definition of DOST
Definition of ESFB-DOST:

ESFB- DOST include profiles like used commercial vehicle brokers who are primarily involved in buying and selling/
Facilitate repurchase transactions of used commercial vehicles, Mechanics of commercial vehicles, Re-threading
Tyre dealer’s/ Tyre dealer’s / Opinion leaders form Mini CV / LCV / CV stand / Referrals through existing customers
etc.

Pay-out structure
DOST Pay-out:
1% on finance amount or Rs. 5000/- which ever is lower [Applicable for all UCV’s]

UCVD Pay-out:
1% commission on disbursal amount up to 2 vehicles or 2 cases in a month
1.25% on disbursal amount for > 3 vehicles or 3 cases in a month
