 STEPS IN STARTING A BUSINESS
Requirements:
DTI / SEC/CDA I. For Original Application, Single Proprietor, Filipino Citizen
 Applicant must be at least 18 years old
 Duly filled-up PBR Application Form
 2 valid IDs

II. If Filer is other than the Applicant

 Letter of Authorization from the applicant
 Photocopy of valid ID Card bearing the signature of the
applicant
 1 valid ID of the bearer

Procedures:
1. Secure Philippine Business Registry (PBR) application form at
DTI/NERBAC.
2. Fill-out application form.
3. Submit duly accomplished Application form together with
supporting documents.
4. DTI Teller will evaluate and process business name application.
5. Pay the applicable fees:
 Barangay – P 200.00
 City/Municipality – P 500.00
 Regional – 1,000.00
 National – 2,000.00
 Plus documentary stamp – P 15.00
6. Receive Business Name Certificate and sign logbook.
 Turn-around time: 30mins.
