Crossbow arrows are tipped with a broadhead for hunting
or a field point for practice. Your owner’s manual gives the
minimum arrow size, weight, and length that can be shot from your crossbow. • Never attempt to shoot an arrow that is spined lighter or that is shorter than the manufacturer’s recommendations. Various sights can be used with a crossbow—a red dot sight system, a scope sight with single or multiple-range crosshairs, or a peep sight.
Note: For safety, it is best to
begin the sighting-in process at 10 yards. Then, when the arrows are hitting in the center of the target at 10 yards after adjustments have been made with the scope, move back to 20 yards.
