• 1. Art Attack
• Procedure:
• a. Position the students on the lower grounb of the building or the
school.
• b. Tell the students to draw view that they see in front of them.( All of
them must be facing in the same direction)
• c. After 5 minutes, transfer to a much higher ground. This time, tell the
students to draw the view they see below them. (Students must be
viewing the same scenery)
• d. After 5 minutes, go back to the classroom for the processing.
• e. Connect the activity to partial perspective and holistic perspective.

• a. Show an object to the students. (any object).
• b. Let the students describe the object (The teacher must not tell
the students to descibe the object by looking at all possible angles)
• c. Allow them to share what they have observed.
• d. After the sharing, tell the kids to describe the same object by
looking at all possible angles.
• e. Get the responses.
• f. Connect the activity to partial and holistic perspective.

• 1. The Will to Act
• Procedure:
• Form groups of 4 members each.
• Members of each group will think of a personal action or an event in
their life that became possible due to the their will and intiative to
perform such action or event.
• Group sharing.
• After the group sharing, one representative from each group will
share his/her thoughts to the entire class.

1. Slogan- Analysis
• Procedure:
• a. Divide the class into 4 groups.
• b. Using the slogan, “Broadening One’s Perspective is Life-
Enhancing”, let the groups create a meaningful interpretation of the
slogan through a creative way.
• c. Groups may choose role- play, dance, or song in carrying out
the task of explaining the slogan.
• d. Allot 20 minutes for the preparation. Each performance must
only last for 2 minutes

Major branches of philosophy
• 1. Logic
– is t he science of inferential thinking and correct reasoning. This
covers the study of ideas and terms, judgment and proposition,
reasoning and syllogism.
• 2. Cosmology
– is the science which considers the ultimate principles and causes of
mobile beings in general. This includes the essential principles of
natural bodies, matter and form, change, motion, time, place, space,
causality and finality and generation and corruption.

• 3. Psychology
– is the science of animate mobile beings as such: especially
man, his nature attributes, and operations. This covers the concept of
life and its operations, the soul, sensation and appetition, intellection
and volition
• 4. Metaphysics
– is the science which deals with the nature of being, its
attributes, constituent principles and causes. This includes the
concept of being, its analogy and fundamental attributes, problem of
evil, act and potency, essence and existence, substance and accidents.

• 5. Theodicy
– is the science of the nature, existence, essence,
attributes and operations of god.
• 6. Epistemology
– is the science which examines the truth value or validity
of human knowledge
• 7. Ethics
– is the science of the morality of human acts as ordained
to the final end.
