INTRODUCTION

 Research Report
A written document or oral presentation based on a
written document.
WHAT IS AN ORAL REPORT?
 Informal oral reports are generally characterized
by small-group settings with a high degree of
audience interaction and a relaxed manner of
delivery and dress. An informal oral report might
be an impromptu presentation.

 An oral report also has the same three basic parts


as a written report. The introduction should "hook"
your audience. Catch their interest with a question,
a dramatic tale or a personal experience that
relates to your topic. The body is the main part of
your report, and will use most of your time.

 Report writing is the creation of a structured


document that precisely describes, and
examines an event or occurrence. A report is a
document that is short, sharp and
specially written for a particular audience and
purpose.

communication skills. Thus,

The main purpose of an oral presentation is to


present subject content in an organized, concise and
effective manner to a live audience. When delivering
an oral presentation, certain challenges require
ingenious techniques to engage into an impromptu
interaction with the audience members.

1. Content
o Audience may lose interest if the report contain too

conclusion.

interesting facts about your topic..

o Body of the report must be presented in a logical
manner.

o Good conclusion reminds the audience of the key points.

o Question is important to judge the interesting and
understanding level of audience..
