OBJECTIVE- Educating farmers about use of safety equipments while dealing
with agrochemicals.
LOCATION- Naande and Chaande village
STAGE 1- Pre- assessment of current situation of farmers:
• Preparing the questionnaire.
• Identifying the usage pattern of the farmers.
• Identifying the agrochemicals used by the farmers.
• Identifying the safety measures taken by the farmers.
• Identifying the deviations from POP.
• Identifying the deviations from GAP.
• Collecting the data about the productivity of the crop.
• Collecting the soil sample.
• STAGE-2
• Analysis of the data collected from the farmers and finding the gaps.
• Developing the soil health report.
• STAGE-3
• Creating awareness among the farmers about the incorrect practices
followed by them through workshops and farmer’s meetings.
• Recommend farmers to take the soil health cards.

• OBJECTIVE: Educating farmers about use of safety equipments while dealing with
agrochemicals.
• Scope:
• The extent of our study is to educate and create awareness among the farmers of
Naande and Chaande villages.
• Methodology:
• The pilot study was based on the semi-structured questionnaire where the
farmers where asked about the crops and the application of pesticides by them.
• The focus of the questionnaire was majorly on whether the farmers were aware
about the harmful effects of the pesticide and the safety equipments needed to
protect them from the harmful effects.
